Wow! 100 kinds of Schnitzel, absolutely overwhelming but in a very good way! Staff was incredibly friendly, and accommodating. The food was fantastic, i ordered the A la Chef choice and my friend ordered the Calzone choice, both were very good...the A la Chef was absolutely DIVINE! I cant wait to go back and try another! Great job to the folks at Schnitzelhaus Alte Munz! You guys are amazing! i have a new favorite place in Heidelberg!
Make a reservation! This place was hoping and popping from the time we arrived to the moment we left. So popular with locals and tourists alike. Food is well seasoned and expertly prepared. It's Schnitzel! The accompanying sauces and additions including stuffed is great. There is at least one out of the 101 for you!. Had the los amigos (cheddar cheese sauce, jalapeño and spicy) as well at the Roma (stuffed with mozzarella, salami, and sundried tomato. Make the time for this place.
As already mentioned over 100 varieties of Schitznel available and pils, dark or wheat Hilderberger beer on tap available. Food was excellent and so far one of the best dishes I had here in my year long stay in Germany. Service was fast and good. It could also be because we had dinner pretty early. Had #89 - Ala Chef. The cream sauce was light and very flavorful. I would come back to the same place if I came here again.
